This policy covers the marketing website only. Use of the ShieldView AI platform by customer agencies is governed by separate written agreements between ShieldView and those agencies, which include additional data protection and CJIS-related commitments.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit a form on the Site — for example, to request a demo, contact sales or support, start a free trial, or participate in a referral or event campaign — we collect the information you enter, which may include:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your agency or organization name, department, and job title or rank
  • The contents of any message or inquiry you send us

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to measure Site traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Email providers — Form submissions generate email notifications to our team and, where you provide your email address, a confirmation email to you. These messages are transmitted through our email service provider.
  • Hosting and infrastructure — The Site is hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure that processes technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) as needed to deliver the Site.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
